While Parno Mittra is all geared up for the release of ‘Ahare Mon’, an exciting update about her role in her next film has cropped up. The actress will reportedly play an investigative journalist in the upcoming thriller ‘Chupkatha’ directed by Rick Basu. The first part of the film was shot in Kurseong. The next schedule is expected to be filmed in prominent places around Kolkata. Featuring Parno in the lead as Shivangi, ‘Chupkatha’ revolves around the mystery surrounding a child’s disappearance.
There are only two clues to unravel in this mystery – a Nokia handset and an old house. When Shivangi begins her investigation, she finds that all roads lead to one particular place. What happens next, forms the crux of the film. Parno is quite excited to be a part of such an interesting film as she revealed the Kurseong shooting part was a great experience with the heavy rains and fog, making it difficult to continue the shoot.
