In Beautiful Life, Rituparna will be essaying the role of an artist and sculptor, while Tota will also be seen as a painter opposite her. The film is being shot in and around Kolkata.
The story revolves around a patient suffering from cerebral atrophy, a disease that affects the brain. Deboshmita Sengupta will be seen as the patient. Three people, an artist, a sculptor and a scientist, get involved with the patient.
“I recently completed the shoot of Circuser Ghora, which is a fantasy film for kids, and Borun Babur Bondhu, which has a story that revolves around two friends,” said Paran, adding, “I’m currently directing a new play, Promilar Peagi, which I’ve written too. It’s a hilarious story. And frankly speaking, I just love to make people laugh. Moreover, I feel I’m no one to preach anything to anyone.”
