Paoli joins Chhayamanush team

Paoli and Kaushik are all set to start shooting for Chhayamanush
Director Arindam De has roped in two new actors ��� Paoli Dam and Kaushik Ganguly ��� for Chhayamanush which also stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee and Raima Sen. The film revolves around Rahul (Param), who suffers from writer���s block. Things start getting better after he meets Dayal (Kaushik Ganguly). Rahul regains his lost confidence.
Arindam informed, ���Paoli plays Trisha, a journalist who is Param���s friend, philosopher and guide.I know Kaushik since my university days. Dayal, the character he plays is extremely complex and has supernatural power. He helps Rahul overcome his writer���s block and even predicts his marriage to Gouri (Raima), his publisher���s (Soumitra) niece. Trisha finds all these things very suspicious and she is the question mark in this film.���
Paoli who is happy to play Trisha, said, ���I always like to essay characters which are real and a bit complex. Trisha���s character is just like that. She questions everything and her relationship with Rahul is undefined. I don���t know whether it is love or true friendship and there lies the beauty of it.���
For Kaushik, working in Arindam���s film is more of adda than work. ���With Param, Mamdo (Arindam) and I on the sets, it will be like our old campus get-togethers. I am yet to read the script but I have heard the story and my character seemed interesting. The audience will keep guessing till the end whether Dayal is a negative or a positive character. And that prompted me to sign on the dotted lines,��� Kaushik signed off.
