Padmanabha Dasgupta is all set to start shooting for
Parambrata Chatterjee’s film,
Abhijaan
, from Thursday. “The script of this film has been jointly written by Prambrata and me. Incidentally, I am acting in it too. I play a character that will remind you of the late actor Anoop Kumar, while Rudranil’s (Ghosh) character is a tribute to Rabi Ghosh. I am also a part of Dhrubo Banerjee’s Golondaaz, where I play Ananda Krishna Deb, Dev’s father-in-law. However, I have no clue when the shooting of the film will resume, as it’s a sports film where maintaining social distance will be a bit difficult,” said Padmanabha.
Currently, the actor is penning a script for Indradeep Das Gupta’s next film, which is all about the existence of the human race in this
pandemic
. “I am also working on the next Shabor script for Arindam Sil,” Padmanabha added.
