Paayel in Nihal Dutta’s rom-com

Paayel Sarkar who is currently shooting for Argha Deep Chatterjee’s upcoming thriller ‘Mukhosh’ has been roped in to play the female lead Sudha in Nihal Dutta’s romantic-comedy titled ‘Choddobeshi’.
“It’s a love story-cum-family drama. Sudha is a cultured lady who is into theatre. A new hero will be launched opposite me. Saurav Das plays an interesting character in the film.I am yet to do the look test and I plan to sport a different look,” said the pretty actress.
Meanwhile, ‘Mukhosh’ is an intense thriller which sees Payel Sarkar and Rajatava Datta opposite each other. It also has Prantik Banerjee, Santilal Mukherjee and debutant Amrita in pivotal roles.
The story starts with Amrita lodging a complaint about her missing older sister while a senior police inspector, played by Santilal Mukherjee, begins primary investigation. Amrita believes her brother-in-law, played by Rajatava Datta, is responsible for her sister's disappearance.
Rajatava Dutta will be seen as an influential figure with strong political connections and the incident puts his career in troubled waters.
