Cinematographer
Sirsha Ray had gone to catch a show of Konkona Sen Sharma's A Death in the Gunj with wife Nandini this week. Just as the film was about to begin, a man asked him to move. `Hard luck', he was heard saying as Sirsha gave up his recliner without a word. At the end of the film, the audience got to know that Sirsha, the film's cinematographer, was present and broke into a round of applause.
Among those clapping was also the one who had claimed his seat. Even in the dark, I could see he was red in the face.
