Gautam Ghose has already started shooting for his next Hindi film ‘One Day In The Rains’ at Patratu valley near Ranchi. On the backdrop of the picturesque landscape of Chotanagpur, the film shows how a group of villagers save the lives of an old couple.
While elaborating on his next project, the national award-winning director said “These days we often see incidents of intolerance and violence, but my film attempts to explore the compassionate side of the common mass. It’s in Hindi but comes with an international appeal. The audience will get to see glimpses of diverse cultural traditions such as the Domkach folk dance. Even we have used a few local dialects in dialogues.”
‘One Day In The Rains’ features some of the finest character artists like
Adil Hussain,
Tillotama Shome and
Neeraj Kabi. The entire film would be shot in some serene locations of Jharkhand.
