Tollywood’s latest connection to politics, Basirhat MP
Nusrat Jahan has shared the first look of her character Aditi from ‘Pavel’s upcoming ‘
Asur
’. Nusrat, who plays one of the leads, looks rather intimidating in the new poster.

Pavel wants to call the plot of ‘Asur’ his tribute to
Ramkinkar Baij
. It’s a relationship story of three friends — Kigan (
Jeet), Bodhi (
Abir Chatterjee) and Aditi (Nusrat).
The trio has been friends from their college days. While Kigan and Aditi used to study arts, Bodhi was a student of English literature. Abir playing Bodhi fits the role to the T. His character hails from a Bengali aristocratic family who has taken up a corporate job. Kigan dabbles in sculpture and painting while Aditi is a non-practicing artiste.
Besides Kolkata, ‘Asur’ will be extensively shot in Bolpur and is eyeing a year-end release. This film will be Tollywood’s star MP Nusrat Jahan’s first onscreen appearance after becoming an MP. It will see her reuniting on screen with Jeet, after her 2011 debut film ‘Shotru’, and after that in 2016’s ‘Power’.
