Tolly industry says
Nusrat Jahan has no film offers in hand right now. Speculation was rife all is not okay with the pretty actress and SVF for whom she was the no.1 female lead for a long time. But equations are changing now and it seems Nusrat wants to experiment with her career. We hear Nusrat doesn’t want to do commercial films right now. She is focusing on roles which will give her a chance to portray a different character.
If all goes according to plan, the pretty actress will be seen in a film directed by
Tridib Raman and what’s interesting is
Padmanabha Dasgupta has penned the story which revolves around an independent woman’s fight against all the odds as she raises her voice against environmental pollution. Nusrat says when she went through the script it felt it’s her story. The character will give her a chance to prove her acting credentials.
The script session is still underway and to prep up for the role Nusrat will soon start a workshop under
Sohag Sen.
Joy Sarkar will compose the music for this film and it will start rolling soon.
