and Bangsi who can’t speak since their birth. Inspired by the mythical love saga of Radha-Krishna, ‘Nupur’ offers the same essence of passionate romance using a poetical and musical backdrop.

This film marks the debut of three new faces - Tanusree as Nupur,

Suvojit Kar

as Bangshi, and Jammy Banerjee as Raghu. Biswajit Chakraborty, Debika Mukherjee, Lucky Barua, Sreerupa Saha, and Bijoli Sarkar form the rest of the cast. Screenplay, choreography and direction are by director Ranadeep himself and the soulful music of the film has been composed by Pancham and Dew.

‘Nupur’ is unique in the sense for the first time a Bengali film has been made inspired by Jaidev’s ‘Geet Govind’ and the famous ‘Sukh Sari Kotha’. The divine Love Saga of Radha and Krishna will no doubt bring back the wave of romanticism.
