“We have planned to develop the script as we take the children through theatre therapy workshops. Based on their ability to learn, we will design the play. Some children might need speech therapy, some have mobility issues. We will have to work with them keenly before we can stage the final production,” Nigel told us.

While

Jahar das

will be directing the show,

Pragyo Dutta

will compose the music and Durnibar will sing. The script of the play is penned by Ipsita, who is also a mother of a specially abled child. “Throughout the production process, we will have

a Psychological Advisor

, Dr Manisha Bhattacharya. It is an ambitious project. The title of the play is also a tribute to

Charlie Chaplin

, whose silent films comment on the surroundings like nothing else does,” Nigel said.
