Nandita Roy's birthday plans revealed

Director Nandita Roy, who co-directed blockbusters like Haami, Belaseshe,

Praktan

and many more, is turning a year older tomorrow and her team members are planning a special lunch for the filmmaker at her office. On the lunch menu will be

rice

and mutton while the dinner menu includes fish fry and potoler dorma. "The lunch is planned and cooked by our teammates. Nanditadi is a very private person and only her close friends and family members are invited for the party in the evening,” said filmmaker Shiboprosad.

Still basking in the success of Mukherjee Dar Bou, Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee have already started working on their next project.

The working title

of the film is Gowtro and the shoot is likely to start from mid-April. According to sources, the film is a family drama based on caste system. Kharaj Mukherjee, Anashua Majumdar, Nigel Akara, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Manali Dey will be playing pivotal roles in the film. Even though Nandita and Shiboprosad have been making two films in a year, they have been seen producing a number of films too.
