The songs of Dhrubo Banerjee’s upcoming film, Durgeshgorer Guptodhan, plays a very important role in the narrative. All the songs helps the film narrative flow, and without the songs, the story cannot be told, said Dhrubo.

“Just like Indiana Jones searches only for mythical treasures, Sonada looks for treasure within Bengal with the help of the state's history,” Dhrubo added.
Even though the songs in the film have not used in the traditional way, there are four songs in the film. The music is directed by by
Bickram Ghosh and the recording in going on. “The music of Guptodhoner Sondhane was also done by Bickram and as the adventure of the film intensifies, the scope and rendition of music are also getting bigger,” Dhrubo added.
Durgeshgorer Guptodhan is the sequel of Guptodhoner Sondhane and will have the same star cast. That means Abir Chatterjee will return as Sonasa, the energetic history professor, and Arjun Chakraborty, Ishaa Saha will be seen as his close associates like in the last film. Dhrubo Banerjee has already assured that there will also be a third flick in this series. However, the release of Durgeshgorer Guptodhan has been postponed.
