Murari M Rakshit’s recent release ‘Reunion’ was appreciated by all for its honest attempt in portraying the student politics in 90s Bengal. Now, if all goes according to plan, his next ‘Chuti’ will have Tnusree Chakraborty and
Ritwick Chakraborty in the lead. The story of this film is original and meant for children. We hear Tnusree has given her green signal but Ritwick is yet to give final confirmation.
Murari M Rakshit plans to start shooting for ‘Chuti’ later this month.
Tnusree has another film in hand, Ankit Aditya’s rom-com ‘Thai Curry’ where she shares the screen with a bunch of popular actors like Soham Chakraborty, Rudranil Ghosh and Trina Saha.
Meanwhile, Ritwick has a number of films in the pipeline as well including Srijit Mukherji’s thriller ‘Vinci Da’ and Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s social satire ‘Teko’ among others. He is also playing the iconic character of Srikanta created by Saratchandra Chattopadhyay in Pradipta Bhattacharya’s upcoming ‘Rajlokkhi O Srikanta’ which also stars Rahul Banerjee, Bangladeshi actress Jyotika Jyoti and Sayan Ghosh in the lead.
