Mrinal Mukherjee's sad demise leaves Tollywood in shock

Veteran Bengali actor Mrinal Mukherjee breathed his last on May 7 at a Kolkata private hospital after a prolonged illness.
Known for his stellar acting performances in films like ‘Byomkesh O Chiriakhana’ (2016), ‘Ghar Jamai’ (2008), ‘Streer Maryada’ (2002) and many more and appearing in head strong character roles in popular Bengali serials, the octogenarian was suffering from cancer and was lately diagnosed with jaundice and other age related health issues.
When the news of his sad demise came on Tuesday, Tollywood was left in shock. From Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta to Parambrata Chatterjee among many others took to their social media handle to share their thoughts.
