Pintu Chatterjee is all set to get behind the lens once again. And this time around, he has settled for the title Abhinoy Noye for his venture. The film-maker points out that Abhinoy will be written in Bengali while Noye will be in figure. I want to reflect a comic pattern in the way the title is written on the posters, reasons Chatterjee.
Speaking about the storyline, the director says that this rom-com tries to show that though we are all like actors in real life, playing different parts as in a play, somewhere, it is not just acting.
Chatterjee has decided on Moubani Sorcar and a newcomer, Raju, to essay the leads in this triangular love story. Im yet to zero in on another actor to play the second lead, says Chatterjee, adding that Biswajit Chakraborty, Rajatava Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee and Tamal Roy Choudhury have also been roped in. The story, which is Chatterjees brainchild, centres around a childless couple. The husband thinks the world about his nephew while his wife loves her niece wholeheartedly. But both of them ask their nephew and niece to promise that if they never marry, they will be made the benefactor of their wealth. What happens next is what the film deals with. To be shot in Kolkata and Murshidabad, the film-maker hopes to start shooting from September.
