Memories in March��������� is all set to become a memorable experience. Not only for viewers in India but worldwide. What���������s more, this will be the first film from Bengal to enjoy a global premiere on the Internet on April 1, the film���������s release date.
Says Mahendra Soni, director, Shree Venkatesh Films, ���������We have had simultaneous releases in India and North America for some of our films.

But this time around, we wanted to take ���������MIM��������� a step further. Hence, the decision of a global premiere on the Net.��������� The producers are of the opinion that the film���������s subject will successfully establish a connect with audiences worldwide. ���������This is an English film with a smattering of Hindi and Bengali. What comes as an icing on the cake is the critical acclaim that Sanjoy Nag���������s film has won at various national and international film festivals,��������� reasons Soni.
The director, however, feels that the film���������s subject too will do its bit in reaching out to the global audience. ���������The film deals with the emotions of love, grief and absence as also the discovery of a mother. These emotions aren���������t culture specific but are global. Naturally then, they will transcend and cross all barriers. Hence, we are targeting as large a release as possible,��������� Nag opines. Oney Seal, founder of an international distribution house, is of the opinion that the film���������s language will appeal to an international audience, ���������After all, English is the most-widely spoken language. From our earlier releases, we realized that apart from North America, there are large pockets, which were waiting go be tapped. And what better way to establish a world connect than ���������MIM���������?��������� Here���������s to being united by sweet memories, the world over.
