Mega event designed for Cancer Survivorship Day

Designer Abhishek Roy is set to ring in Cancer Survivorship Day on March 3 with a mega event, Pink Aware. The evening will begin with the screening of Satarupa Sanyal’s Aro Aro Dao Pran, a tale of cancer survivors. It will be followed by a ramp show — Champions Walking the Ramp — with cancer survivors walking the ramp with celebs from different walks of life.

Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Alokananda Roy, Sharbari Dutta, Chaitali Dasgupta, Paroma Banerjee, Isha Saha, Iman Chakraborty, Sreemoyee Piu Kundu, Satarupa Sanyal, Satrajit Sen, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, Ratul Shankar and Noor will be present on the occasion.Shiboprosad’s next film, Kantho, is about a cancer survivor.
