‘Mayurakshi’, starring Soumitra Chatterjee and Prosenjit Chatterjee in the lead has been flooded with so many awards including the national award last year. Prosenjit, whose home production ‘Uronchondi’ grabbed the official selection at the festival said he is feeling proud and happy for the young team of ‘Uronchondi’. But he admits he is quite surprised to see Mayurakshi is absent on the list. Srijit, who also expected ‘Mayurakshi’ to make the cut says that it happened earlier as well with films like ‘Jatiswar’, ‘

Chotushkone

’, and ‘Nirbashito’ couldn’t make it to the list.
