Soham and Srabanti are back in Kolkata having shot a few song-and-dance sequences for Soumik Chattopadhayas film in MauritiusMauritus proved lucky for the duo. And Srabanti and Soham got second-time lucky when they shot a few song-and-dance sequences for Soumik Chattopadhayas as-yet-untitled film in the beautiful locales of Mauritius, recently.
The song, O my love from Amanush was a huge hit, so this time around, when Soumikda informed that we are heading towards Mauritus, I couldnt help scream my lungs out! I remember telling him, Soumikda ebar o gaan hit!, says Srabanti with child-like excitement ringing in her voice.
The director has given Srabanti a new look in the song sequences. I wanted her to look completely different and hopefully, film-buffs will like what they see. Both Soham and Srabanti have danced away to glory and their pairing is bound to go down well with the audience. They complemented each other and the songs to which they danced are also melodious, informs Soumik.
Srabanti cant stop waxing eloquent about co-star Soham. Its a pleasure working with Bittu (Soham) and our camaraderie reflects on-screen. I used to be so engrossed in pulling off a move or two that I would, most often, be clueless when Soumikda said cut, smiles Srabanti.
The rains played spoilsport in Mauritius when Soham and Srabanti were shooting for Soumik Chattopadhayas as-yet-untitled film. We shot two romantic songs in Mauritius. But the rain was a real dampener! We had to cancel one speedboat sequence because everyone advised that shooting in the rains would be risky. There was a shot with a lion in the Safari and Bird Park, which Soumikda had planned but we had to cancel it at the last minute because of time crunch. We had a blast. With Srabanti around, one cannot but enjoy every moment of the shoot, said Soham.
