Paoli is super busy right now. With so much of time being spent on work, whatever happened to her dream of getting married and settling down? "Cinema happened to me and I realized after joining the movies that this is where I need to be. There was a time when my aspiration in life was to settle down and have children.

But after Pat (her ex-boyfriend) passed away, I started seeing life differently. I focused myself only on cinema and I realized that its only cinema that can immortalize me."
So, how important is marriage for her now? "Frankly, its not important at all. My parents stay together but still havent got their marriage registered. For them as much for others, its the soul-connect that matters. Vikram Chatterjee is a good friend of mine but its too early to even think if we should ever tie the knot or not."
Does marriage have any connection whatsoever as far as satisfying the carnal desires are concerned? "No", she says before signing off with: "Today its nobodys business to bother about what mature adults want as long as they are making responsible choices without creating any mess."
