To double the celebration here’s another exciting news for the talented filmmaker. His short film ‘I, Reborn’ will have its world premiere on March 29 at one of the most prestigious silent film festivals in the world, the 7th Speechless Film Festival in Mankato, Minnesota USA.

‘I, Reborn’ is a 20-minute silent short film exploring the cycle of life with a touching story of a young Dom. While Debopriyo Mukherjee plays the young dom, Haridas Chattopadhyay essays his father’s role in the film which has been shot in Tajpur.
Speaking about the film the director had earlier told us: “I, Reborn is like a awakening, the rising, death and the re-awakening of the universal cycle we all travel on. The story opens a window to the unexplored world of a Dom or undertaker who lives with his aged almost paralyzed father in the backwaters of the Bay of Bengal.”
