Manoj Michigan is on cloud nine and why not? His latest directorial ‘Tritiya Adhyay’ has just completed 50 days at the box office. Since its release on February 8, the romantic thriller starring Abir Chatterjee and Paoli Dam in the lead has received rave reviews from the audience and critics alike.
So, it gives the director immense pleasure to see the film continues to receive love from all corners.
“Frankly speaking I didn’t expect such an overwhelming response from the audience. I thought maximum people will say it’s a good movie. But we knew people will remember ‘Tritiya Adhyay’ irrespective of the box office result. So, that came out very well. It feels great to see our hard work has paid off. The film has completed 50 days at the box office, so we are planning to celebrate this grand success,” said Manoj Michigan.

‘Tritiya Adhyay’ sees a group of young actors like Arunava Dey, Saheb Halder and Soumya Majumder among others delivering commendable performances and as a director Manoj is elated to see his young brigade receiving praise from the audience.
“I am really proud of the young actors I have worked with in ‘Tritiya Adhyay’. They have done a great job. I always prefer to give opportunities to fresh talents. Fresh faces always matter a lot because they always have a hunger to perform the best. If you can properly channelize that hunger in terms of story, script or characters you would see the result. In every critical reviews of my film these young actors have been appreciated a lot. They have actually stood out of their own despite have Abir and Paoli in the cast. People are talking about them and I am really happy for them,” added the director.
