Actor Manali Manisha Dey feels heartbroken to see the current COVID-19 crisis and how people are suffering. So, how this second phase of lockdown has been for her personally?
“I feel emotionally down to see the situation around us. We are getting bad news almost every day. Earlier, this bad news would have concerned people we weren’t familiar with but with every passing day the news pouring in is of near and dear ones getting sick.

But at the end of the day, we all have to move on with our work and we have to be more self-aware and careful while going outside,” shared Manisha while speaking to ETimes.
She has been working for both the big screen and small screen over the years. We asked the actress which is her comfort zone.
“Both are my comfort zone. Considering the present situation, having work and being able to work in itself means a lot. I only agree to do a project if the character appeals to me, so it doesn’t really matter if it is for the small screen or big screen. Both are equally important to me,” added Manali.
Last year during the lockdown Manali shot for ‘Lockdown’ a film, directed by her husband Abhimanyu. “Our love blossomed on the sets of Nimki Phulki, so I thought I would get special treatment from Abhi on the sets of Lockdown. But to my utter disappointment I got maximum scolding from him. I was just another cast member of the team,” said the actress with a smile.
‘Lockdown’ is a film that deals with human psychology during the pandemic. “It is actually a love story where three stories run parallel and somewhere at the end they merge. What binds the characters together is the film all about. My track in this film is with Om,” said Manali.
