Malda���s the new phoren

Raj Chakrabarty is back from Malda and is yet to get over the experience. The director, who went there to can two song sequences with Soham and Mimi for Prem Amar 2, thinks that the location ��� Gour ��� is no less exotic than a foreign locale.
���We could have shot the song in any foreign location, but I wanted to add a realistic feel to it as per the story���s demand.In the film, Soham and Mimi are seen coming from Malda and the song is in keeping with the storyline. Frankly speaking, the scenic beauty of Gour took my breath away,��� said Raj. What���s more, the director is floored by the warmth of the people there. ���People would hire lorries so that they could come to the shooting spot to catch a glimpse, but never for once did they disturb us. The police too were extremely cooperative,��� he added. Soham, who had a blast while shooting, said, ���There couldn���t have been a better backdrop for the songs than Gour. Rajda and I share a comfort zone, but while shooting, I discovered a great friend in Mimi.��� The song, Na re na, featured Soham, while Kothin tomake chhara ekdin had both the actors. ���The song is about how the actors discover their feelings for each other. Arindam, the composer, has done a commendable job,��� said the director.
That apart, the unit also went to Bolpur to shoot a song of this Shree Venkatesh Films venture with Payel and Abir. ���It was a fantastic experience. Choreographer Baba Yadav did a fabulous job. There were no serious dance steps, but we shot it like a love ballad,��� informed Raj.
