Young actor Madhurima Roy is among the early birds who recently started shooting for a web series in Mumbai. “I have resumed shooting a few days back and it felt so different initially when you see the technicians in PPE suits. Worrying part is actors have to take their protective gears off while facing camera, so we need to be more cautious. But it’s a different scenario now for the craft, or work environment. At some point we all have to come to terms with this new normal. There’s no freely hug or shake hands with colleagues and acquaintances when we meet them and will have to continue work with a smaller number of crew. I think from now on scripts will also be developed keeping minimal characters in mind,” revealed the ‘

Mafia

’ actor during an exclusive chat with ETimes.

Madhurima adds the first day on the set after the lockdown seemed to be unlike any other shoot day of her career: “I was so excited to be finally back to face the camera but at the same time was also cautious about my safety. In and around the sets, there were so many sanitiser bottles and sprays. It was a distinct experience, but I feel with time, we all will get used to the new normal.”
