With the world at a standstill because of the
coronavirus pandemic, the film industry is staring at abandoned sets, closed cinema theatres and actors with empty diaries. From managing busy weeks and tight schedules, stars are now confined to their homes.
Rituparna Sengupta is no exception as well.
The Tollywood diva who is currently in Singapore with her family misses her shoot days a lot.
Throwback pictures from sets or snapshots from films are now the only consolation. Rituparna recently shared some throwback pictures from the shooting floor and captioned it: “Major missing Look Set & Shooting.”
The seasoned actress has continued to raise awareness about the novel coronavirus on social media. Though she is stuck in Singapore at present, her heart lies in India. Rituparna, who is currently with her family - husband Sanjay Chakraborty, son Ankan and daughter Risona Niya - in Singapore, believes it’s the time to stay together and everybody has to stay spirited.
Rituparna and her husband have already donated to the PM-CARES Fund, West Bengal chief minister emergency relief fund, Kolkata Endeavour Society and IHA Foundation and several other trusts while the entire nation fights the deadly coronavirus.
