Little Bhutu’s Rabindra Jayanti plans

Little Brata Banerjee aka Bhutu Bhaijaan of Haami is already a star. The seven-year-old attended the khuti puja of Naktala Udayan Sangha and was surprised to see the arrangements. Not only did an excited janta crowd him — he was mobbed in most of his recent outings — many expressed the desire to plant those pecks on his cheeks. But Bhutu had something else on his mind.He was busy thinking about Tagore, whose works have clearly influenced his young mind. All set for a Rabindra Jayanti programme, for which he had plans to render Amra notun jouboneri dyut, he was heard musing, “Tagore was against idol worship.” Now no one asked him to explain his thought in great details as those who know him also know that Bhutu speaks nineteen to the dozen.
