Lily Chakraborty tests positive for COVID-19

Veteran actor Lily Chakraborty has tested COVID-19 positive. “Lily di had tested positive on Saturday but it wasn’t until Wednesday night that she was admitted to a hospital. Initially, she only had fever but later when her oxygen level dipped considerably, she had to be admitted to a hospital for better care. Yesterday, a CT scan was conducted and the reports are satisfactory.She is doing well today,” said Mainak Bhattacharya, who is taking care of the actress.
The actress is a part of the megaserial, Aamar Thikana Tai Briddhashram, and has been shooting for the same. She had resumed work in July 2020 after a hiatus of a few months owing to the nationwide lockdown. Back then, during a conversation with CT, she had shared, “I got inspired when I saw Soumitra Chatterjee shooting and gave my nod to Briddhasharam 2.”
