Learnt a lot from Tenia’s character: Aryann

Aryann Bhowmik is really happy about playing one of the pivotal characters in Raajhorshee De’s Purbo Poschim Dokkhin Uttor Asbei. The actor, who has been praised for his performance in the film, says he got to learn a lot during the course of the project.
Aryann, who has played the character of Tenia, said that black magic is the backbone of the film and his role is that of a tantrik (black magician).In his past life, Tenia was a black magician and would kidnap young girls from the villages to practice his art. While it was not the correct way to do it, he was cursed and took a rebirth. “In his present life, too, Tenia is a very dark and cruel character. Since childhood, he is extremely cruel and takes pleasure in killing and hurting innocent beings. Besides, Tenia is a young boy in his twenties who is addicted to drugs, women and social media. He is also involved in a number of anti-social activities like trafficking and drug dealing,” said Aryann.
While the actor has worked in numerous films since 2008, including Durgeshgorer Guptodhon, Titan, Yeti Obhijan and The Hacker, Aryann has never played such a dark character before. “My character is so cruel and full of hatred that it was very difficult for me to cope with it at first. But once I got into the character, I could learn a lot,” he said, adding that people are liking and praising his work.
