Anasua Majumdar as Shovarani and Koneenica Banerjee as Aditi, being the protagonists of the film, are searching for their identity. The story and script of the film is by Samragnee Bandyopadhyay, while the music is composed by Indraadip Das Gupta.
Koneenica, who can’t stop praising Pritha, said, “Pritha is a first-time director, but the way she has handled the film is amazing. She is sorted. She knows exactly what she wants from her cast. Whenever any actor becomes overly emotional in a scene that does was not required it, she has regulated it and asked us to tone it down. And the best part is she is open to ideas.”
Koneenica, who plays Aditi, is Mukherjee dar bou in the film. “The story and the characters are so relatable. We see these characters every day in our daily lives. There are so many women who give up their career because of their family and Aditi is one of them. The film shows the age-old ego hassles and the mind battles between a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law and how the husband tries to balance them,” said the actress.
