Actress Srijita Ghosh is all set to make her Bollywood debut with romantic drama Love Dobaara. She will be seen starring opposite Vijay Raj.
Born and brought up in Kolkata, Srijita has worked in multiple projects down south, but is also keen to work in a Bengali film soon. She says, “Bengali filmmakers are very creative. I think all Bengalis are very talented when it comes to art." Talking about some of her favourite Bengali filmmakers, she shares Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Kaushik Ganguly, Srijit Mukherji and Sandip Ray are a few she wants to work with in the future.
Having worked in the Telugu film industry, Srijita's performance in Katha Venuka Katha alongside Viswant Dudumpudi made her a household name in the South. Looking forward, she has bagged a Kannada film Usire Usire that also features veteran actor Kichha Sudeep. Soon, she will also be seen in Adhiparvam alongside Laxmi Manchu.
Srijita shares, “I want to be a part of projects that challenge me. Be it a family drama, socially relevant subjects, historical or biographical, I am eager to do any character in any language that challenges the actress in me.”
Up next, she will be seen in Telugu film Nature, where she shares screen space with Priyadarshi.
