Koel Mallick fractures arm while shooting

Actress Koel Mallick was rushed to hospital on Sunday after suffering an injury during the shoot of her upcoming film, Ekti Khunir Sandhane Mitin by Arindam Sil. The actress was shooting for an action sequence directed by action director Sunil Rodrigues. Koel put out a statement on X saying, “I sustained an injury on 31st March during an action scene of Ekti Khunir Sandhaney Mitin.” She added that she was rushed to the hospital and an examination and X-ray revealed a fracture on her right forearm. Koel’s arm will be in a cast for three months and she has been advised rest. “We will shoot with the rest of the cast and crew on Wednesday. Once Koel has recovered, she will return to shoot the remaining seven days of shoot,” said filmmaker Arindam Sil.
