, Ditipriya Roy and Saheb Chatterjee along with music director Bickram Ghosh were present at the screening and the press conference held post that.
Arjun, who was appreciated for his portrayal of Apu in the film, said, “I am overjoyed – more for the film than myself. The entire team has worked extremely hard to make Avijatrik come to life. The research and scripting are unbelievable and so is the cinematography. I thank the makers for believing in me. It’s an actor’s dream to play Apu and I was the fortunate one in this case. This acceptance and respect are for the entire team.”
Saheb Chatterjee, who has lent his voice to the film, said, “Music plays an important role in the film. There are layers of music that Bickramda has created and the director has rightly incorporated all the notes in the film. We hope it will be a visual treat to moviegoers across the country.”
Subhrajit on his part is happy with the audience’s response to the film. “It is overwhelming when the audience appreciates your effort. Apu has returned after 60 years, let the journey begin and let us all celebrate the wanderlust of Apu with this film.”
