The much-awaited teaser of Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat, starring Jeet, has finally been unveiled, offering a gripping first glimpse into a story that blurs the line between rebellion and crime.
Set in 1960s Kolkata, the film revolves around a series of calculated robberies targeting the powerful—incidents that evoke both fear and fascination among the public. At the centre is Ananta, an ageing and enigmatic figure viewed by some as a criminal and by others as a saviour. As Inspector Durga Roy launches an intense manhunt, the narrative raises a compelling question: is Ananta a thief, or a revolutionary reborn?

Through layered storytelling and shifting timelines, the film traces Ananta’s past—from a devoted freedom fighter under Surya Sen during India’s independence movement to a disillusioned man witnessing the erosion of the ideals he once fought for. Unable to accept the growing corruption and injustice, he turns to radical methods, waging a new war for the oppressed with strategy, experience, and an unyielding moral code. In the director’s note, the filmmaker describes Ananta Singha’s life as “incredibly cinematic,” spanning decades and contrasting social realities, yet anchored in a relentless pursuit of ideals. While it was impossible to capture every facet of his journey, the focus remains on the spirit that defines him. The film also aims to reflect contemporary society, where people continue to search for figures to believe in.
