Karisma in Kolkata, feasts on daab chingri, kosha manghso

Calcutta Times had already reported that Karisma Kapoor and Surya Sharma are in Kolkata shooting for Abhinay Deo’s crime series titled Brown – The First Case. The team will be in town for a month and will be shooting in north Kolkata too. Helen, who is part of the cast, will be joining the team soon. Jisshu U Sengupta, too, is playing a pivotal role in this neo-noir crime drama, which is based on Abheek Barua’s book, City Of Death.
Last week, the actress was spotted having lunch at a Bengali restaurant in Chowringhee. A source from the restaurant shared, “Karisma ji is extremely nice and down-to-earth. She tasted several Bengali delicacies such as crab masala, badga chingri shalmi, daab chingri, kosha mangsho and more. She loved it.”
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan is in Darjeeling shooting for Sujoy Ghohs’s OTT project.
