Joy's on a role

Joy is busy with two ventures. One is D Mukherjee directed, Mone Mone Bhalobasha and the other is Mayer Moto Maa by Pijush Debnath.
While MMB is a love story, the other is a family drama. Talking about the projects Joy says, 'In MMB, I am adopted by a family and the guy is well aware of this fact. When it comes to his brother's marriage, he is sent to the village to see his prospective bride.Love starts to blossom between the two.' Sounds similar to Pardes? Joy gets on the defensive: 'It might seem so, but the build up is different.'
In MMM, Joy will be essaying the role of a mastan who is hired to usurp the wealth of a rajbari. 'But when my character goes there, he has a change of heart,' adds Joy. While MMM has Laboni Sarkar, Tapas Paul and Disha in the cast, MMB has Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Arunima Ghosh.
