Speaking about the film Rudranil said: "The story revolves around two people. I am playing the character of Rosomoy, a village farmer who comes to Kolkata to find a factory worker job. Rahul is playing a young guy who is also in search of a decent job. I can say this subject hasn’t been touched in Bengali cinema for a long time."
