Jonaki to be screened at KIFF

Good news for cinema lovers. Aditya Vikram Sengupta’s Jonaki was supposed to be shown at the 24th Kolkata International Film Festival but then we heard that the officials of Nandan 1 and authorities of Film Festival are finding it difficult to accommodate the film as Aditya had applied for the film’s screening quite late. Now, we hear that the film will be screened at Nandan 1 on November 16 at 1 pm.Confirming the news, Aditya said, “I am happy that I will be able to screen the film. That was the last wish of Lolita Chatterjee.” Jonaki stars deceased actress Lolita Chatterjee in the lead and happens to be her final work.
