Jisshu
U Sengupta and
Solanki Roy’s onscreen chemistry in the recently released ‘
Baba Baby O
’ has received love from one and all. While Jisshu’s act as a surrogate father has been lapped up by the audience, Solanki, in her big-screen debut, has also impressed everyone.
Jisshu, too, is happy to see his co-star Solanki’s flawless acting in their first outing together. “People are saying she’s a debutant but in reality, Solanki is far more experienced since she has been winning hearts on small screen for years. Also, if you have such vast experience on TV it’s an advantage in your big screen outing. I must say she is a dream actress and we all know she’s a household name after her impressive television career. Solanki has the ability to grab nuances in no time and also happy to receive advice that can enhance the entire performance in any particular scene. I am so happy about her debut and I am sure people will like her performance in the film,” shared an excited Jisshu.
The versatile actor who has made his name in Bollywood and down South as well is also impressed with director
Aritra Mukherjee’s filmmaking process, “I have known Aritra since he was an assistant director during ‘Posto’.” He is well aware of what he wants and sometimes it didn’t seem that this is his second film. Another important thing about Aritra is he is always open to suggestions and if those suit the script he will incorporate the same.”
‘Baba Baby O’s plot revolves around a 40-something Megh Roddur Chattopadhyay, who decides to embrace fatherhood through surrogacy. His life takes a turn when he meets Brishti Roy, a woman in her 20s. The film tries to highlight that love can happen anywhere and anytime. The film which got released on February 4 has been appreciated by critics and audiences alike.
