Jisshu Sengupta to play lead role in Parambrata Chatterjee’s next film!

It’s been more than two years Parambrata Chatterjee was last seen behind the camera. We already know about his upcoming directorial venture ‘Khelechi Ajgubi’. However, not many are aware of the fact that he has another project in hand as a director. The film in question has been titled as ‘Sonar Pahar’.Not only direction, Parambrata has also written the story of ‘Sonar Pahar’ which deals with the relationship between a mother and son.
To play the lead character, his contemporary actor and close friend Jisshu Sengupta has been roped in. Arunima Ghosh will take on the role of Jisshu’s on-screen wife. But the biggest surprise of the casting is the return of veteran actress Tanuja in Bengali cinema after a long gap.
Popular actress Gargee Roychoudhury along with Parambrata himself plays a significant role in this family drama. Initially, Ritwick Chakraborty has reportedly approached to essay an important character in the film but he rejected the offer. Neel Dutt is composing the music for the film produced by Greentouch Entertainment.
