Director Jiit Chakraborty’s Dugga Dugga is a gripping drama set against the backdrop of Kolkata's Durga Puja, where family ties, love, and societal expectations intertwine. The story is penned by Aritra-Ayan, while script and screenplay are by Abhinandan Dutta.
Anamika, estranged from her father after a tragic accident, returns to the city when he falls ill, seeking closure but also facing the complexities of her relationship with Srijan, her possessive partner. As a new love with psychiatrist Rudra blossoms, she discovers she's pregnant with Srijan’s child. Caught between duty, personal freedom, and society’s judgment of her unborn child, Anamika stands at a crossroads, navigating love, family, and tradition.
