Jiit Chakraborty's next film set to be a gripping drama

Director Jiit Chakraborty’s Dugga Dugga is a gripping drama set against the backdrop of Kolkata's Durga Puja, where family ties, love, and societal expectations intertwine. The story is penned by Aritra-Ayan, while script and screenplay are by Abhinandan Dutta.
Anamika, estranged from her father after a tragic accident, returns to the city when he falls ill, seeking closure but also facing the complexities of her relationship with Srijan, her possessive partner. As a new love with psychiatrist Rudra blossoms, she discovers she's pregnant with Srijan’s child. Caught between duty, personal freedom, and society’s judgment of her unborn child, Anamika stands at a crossroads, navigating love, family, and tradition.
Amrita Chattopadhyay, Fahim Mirza, Badsha Maitra, Moyna Mukherjee, Joyitri chowdhury, Arka Prabha Bhattacharya, Samiha Dey, Akashdeep Dasgupta and Rana Basu Thakur play important characters in this project.
