Ever since the first-look poster of
Jeet’s next ‘
Panther
’ was dropped online, it has made his fans excited. And now, here’s another piece of good news. The action thriller has locked a release date and it will hit the theatres on August 9.
‘Panther’ is being directed by young filmmaker Anshuman Pratyush under the banner of Jeetz Filmworks.
The plot comes with a major patriotic tone. The story starts with the Mumbai bomb blast and how a top cop from the detective department busts a terrorist group. Jeet will be donning the detective agency’s secret agent avatar.
Shraddha Das, whose last Bengali film was ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’, is set to play the female lead opposite Jeet.
Sourav Chakraborty, Sudip Mukherjee and
Kanchan Mullick will be seen in important roles.
Jeet’s previous film, Raj Chakraborty directed ‘Shesh Theke Shuru’ didn’t live up to the expectations at the box office despite reuniting Jeet and Koel Mallick as the lead pair after a long time.
