So, Jeet is the most Wanted man in Tollywood...
Omigod! That's a scary thought. Wanted releases end-April. I'm on edge.
If not Jeet, who would be T-Town's most wanted?
Frankly, my competition is with myself.
1x1 polls
There's no taking part in a rat race because if I did, I would be reduced to a rat. Every Friday, whoever's film releases, he/she becomes Tollywood's most wanted.
That way, there have been quite a few Fridays when your films were missed at the box-office. But you are back with three back-to-back big budget ventures...
That was a rough patch. Thank God, it came and went by and I could survive. I'm thankful to Raviji (Kinagi) for giving me an opportunity just when I needed it the most. And I'm back in action with Wanted, Raj Chakrabarty's Dui Prithibi and Raviji's untitled next.

You are flaunting a whole new look for Wanted...
I had some two-and-a-half month's time before the film and utilized it fully by working out vigorously. But in the last 40 days, I could only workout on eight occasions. I am shooting difficult fight sequences in Hyderabad and just crash into bed when I get to my room.
Interestingly, Wanted comes close on the heels of Salman Khan's blockbuster of the same name...
Content wise, my film has nothing to do with that of Salman's. In fact, his film could have had a title other than Wanted. But nothing else but this title suits my film. About it being a blockbuster, public memory is really short. After Wanted came 3 Idiots and My Name Is Khan followed suit. So, it all depends on how this film is promoted.
Wanted is pitted against Soham-Srabanti's Amanush...
Well, mine is an action film, whereas theirs is some sort of a love story. It's the same banner that got me introduced. I wish them all the luck, but I definitely want my film to do well. If you can't love yourself, you can't love anybody.
So, Jeet is back in action...
(Laughs) There's one sequence in the film when I jump off an 18-storey building on to a moving train. Though it's technically shot, I don't think the audience has ever got a taste of such stylized action before.
Doesn't the Jeet-Koel jodi find more favour than Jeet-Srabanti?
Jeet-Koel is an accepted jodi. But I had worked with Srabanti in Champion, much before this jodi thing took form.
Whilst on jodis, isn't the lack of it in real life also qualify you to be Tollywood's most Wanted?
(Laughs) Who wants to be an eligible bachelor for life? I wouldn't mind getting hitched soon, though when and to whom are still unclear.
You are launching a television show (loosely based on Aap Ki Kachehri), which will be your production company's first big churn-out...
Yes, I'm launching a television show, but I'm not ready to give one a peek into the content as the channel will divulge details in a press con soon.
You've roped in Koel Mallick to be the anchor, which means she's getting into television for the first time...
(Laughs) Well... no comments. Wait awhile.
