He last made a film with Jeet in 2010, with Subhashree in 2008 and now, Raj Chakrabarty is teaming up with Sayantika for the first time for his upcoming Puja release, Abhiman.
The film ' a romantic comedy ' is set to go on the floors from June 20. 'It is a humorous family drama. I've planned a special Durga Puja sequence to ensure a festive flavour,' Raj told us.
Jeet, who has been portrayed as a larger-than-life hero in his recent films, will be seen essaying the role of a taxi driver. 'He tries to reunite a family with one of its members, who had left home a long time back. Viewers are likely to relate to the characters portrayed in this emotional roller-coaster,' Raj added.
The film, which also stars Anjana Basu, Biswanath Basu and Kharaj Mukherjee, among others, will be shot in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Italy and Switzerland.
