Shortly after flying out of the country to record a song with Pakistani singer Mustafa Zahid, composer Jeet Gannguli had to repeat his act, yet again. This time around, it was to record a number with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Reason? He too didn't get his visa in time and Jeet thought it best to pitch in with the idea of flying off to Dubai rather than letting go of the opportunity.Jeet, who's scoring music for the Mukesh Bhatt film starring Kunal Kemmu and Amrita Puri, reportedly, worked with Rahat for the first time. "I had always wanted to work with Rahat. When I came to know that Rahat can't come down in time to record a song for rthe film, I flew out of the country to get the job done. Both Maheshji and Mukeshji were hugely supportive of my decision. The recording has happened in Dubai." The film will also see the remake of two of Jeet's popular numbers "Ferari mon" from "System" and "Khujechhi toke raat berate" from "Josh".
Seems like, Jeet is leaving no stone unturned for this Bollywood venture. Here's hoping that he touches the right chord as well.
