Jeet and Koel to pair up for Raj Chakrabarty's film after 9 years!

They had delivered their last hit together, Dui Prithibi, in 2010. And, after nine odd years, the hit threesome of Raj Chakrabarty, Jeet and Koel Mallick is going on the floors tomorrow with a brand new romantic thriller. According to a source close to the team, the yet untitled film will be mostly shot in Kolkata, with a sequence scheduled for

. Ritabhari Chakraborty is also paired opposite Jeet.

“Koel and Jeet have always had a lovely on-screen chemistry and now, Raj is bringing something fresh for the audience with their jodi. The team will fly to London in February for a part of the shoot; the rest is being canned in Kolkata,” the source said. What’s more? The film will also mark the debut of Bollywood composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee in the Bengali film industry. The story kicks off from a point when the lead pair meets on a flight. “The plot then goes on to take a turn. In fact, the film covers incidents over three different timelines and for each period, the makeup of the actors will change,” the source added.

Koel started her career with Jeet in Nater Guru and after that, the duo worked together in several films where their on-screen chemistry has always been applauded. Raj had last worked with Jeet in Abhimaan. While the story and dialogues have been penned by Aditya Sengupta, Manas is the DoP.
