Jayanta Bose felicitated on 60th birthday

It was the 60th birth anniversary of Acharya Jayanta Bose. And his daughter Rema Bose gave him the best gift ever ��� a concert in his honour where the city���s most respected musicians celebrated his contributions to music. Singers like Indrani Sen, Manomay, Rupankar and Raghab rendered his compositions, while Pt Tejendra Narayan Majumdar and Pt Tanmoy Bose presented a jugalbandi, based on a raga and taal created by Acharya Bose.Danseuse Malabika Sen along with Kaushik Chakraborty presented a 30-minute dance ballet. The veteran musician was felicitated by Rudraprasad Sengupta, Rituparna Sengupta, Goutam Ghose and Thankamani Kutty. ���Baba was extremely honoured.
