Jaya Prada makes a Tollywood comeback

She has a repertoire of Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films, and Jaya Prada is loved across regions for her acting prowess. Though few, the actress — best known for films like Sanjog, Sharaabi and Sargam — has also dabbled in Bengali films. She was part of the super-successful Ami Sei Meye before she got into politics. Even after becoming an MP, she did a Bengali film — Sesh Sanghat — in 2009. The premiere of the movie, which failed to garner figures at the box office, was held in presence of Jaya Prada’s the then colleague, Amar Singh. Now years later, the actress has signed up for one more film by Atanu Bose. Titled Aatwaja, the film stars Kaushik Sen, Koel Dhar,
